Problem: 

Performance issues with walk-in cooler compressor

Diagnosis:
Took a refrigerant sample and contamination was detected. The oil from the compressor was removed and performed appropriate test. Results- acidity was too high along with obvious discoloration.

Solution:
We changed the oil for the compressor, installed a new filter direr and flushed out the system. New refrigerant was added to the system and the unit reassembled and put back into operation. The system is still running two years later with no issues.

Recommendation:
This demonstrates that a properly implemented service and maintenance plan can keep your equipment running efficiently and extend its lifespan.
